When Fall rolls around each year the entire Grand Strand area lets out one big happy, “Aaaaaah…” We definitely enjoy the fast-paced summer months and the families arriving to enjoy the beach, the glow of evening bonfires and strolling the boardwalk in Myrtle Beach. For the people who call coastal South Carolina home, September — with its beautiful weather and smaller crowds — is a sweet reward for one more hard-earned, fun-filled summer.
We have much to offer our visitors during the autumn months from scenic outdoors adventures, to unique cultural happenings and memorable dining experiences in over 1,800 restaurants. In fact, you could visit several times a year and still have a different itinerary of things to do each time. We?d like to share with you some of our favorite things to do during this time of the year. Hopefully we will see you here, enjoying autumn in a new way this year.
Fall in the Grand Strand means less people, non-crowded beaches, no waiting in lines for everything, and totally awesome weather. The hottest days of summer are behind us once September rolls around and you?ll find you have the beach pretty much to yourself until May arrives.
