An Insider’s Guide to Surfside Beach

Imagine lazy days under the sun, warm sand under your back, and the sound of the ocean crashing against the shore…This isn’t just any day at Surfside Beach; this is every day at Surfside Beach. We like to think of Surfside as our little coastal oasis. It’s far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the Grand Strand for you to relax, but close enough for you to enjoy all of its amenities.

Whether it’s your first time or 50th time visiting our quaint little beach, here are 5 things you should be sure to see when you come vacation with us.

The Surfside Pier

Perfect for fishing, a romantic stroll, or just for seeing the beach from a new perspective. Licks Ice Cream is also on the pier, so grab a nice cone or hot dog and enjoy the view!

Shoreline Watersports

For the adventurous types, Shoreline is the perfect place to go to rent a jet ski, banana boat, or spend an afternoon parasailing. They’ll make you feel safe so you’re free to enjoy yourself out on the water!

All Children’s Park

Sometimes, nothing beats an afternoon at the playground. All Children’s Park features swings, slides, and play equipment built specifically for handicapped children. Bring a picnic lunch and you’ve got a perfect afternoon!

Wild Water & Wheels

Wild Water & Wheels is our own little water park and adventure center in Surfside Beach. Try one of the many slides or rent a go kart for some fun out of the water.

Hudson’s Surfside Flea Market

For those who are more interested in shopping than watersports, Hudson’s Surfside Flea market is a third generation flea market with vendors peddling everything from antiques to souvenirs!
