Need Mattress brand
We really enjoyed your house this past week. There was plenty of room. We loved being able to sit on the big porch and watch the ocean. Even being able to sit in sitting room as well. The location was absolutely perfect! I do have 1 question; what type of mattress was on the king bed? My husband says that is the first mattress that hasn’t made his back hurt ?. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Wonderful Ocean Views
We were very pleased with the house and the location. It was very clean. The upstairs bedrooms are larger than they appear in the pictures. It has tons of counter and cabinet space. The washer and dryer are upstairs which was convenient. It does not have a dishwasher which was a slight inconvenience. The front porch is huge with lots of rocking chairs and a big picnic table. Easy access with the keypad so you did not need to check in or out at the office, but check in time is 4:30 pm with keypads. WIFI worked great. It has wonderful unobstructed ocean views. The only down side was the house was empty the week before and I called on the week we were arriving and asked if we add 2 days to the beginning of our stay and Surfside told me they only rent a week at a time. We totally enjoyed our stay and would return.

Great Location
Wonderful week at Sam's Shack - the weather and the location cannot be beat! the only thing I would suggest is to put in a dishwasher but that is not a deal breaker!!

Great Beach House
We enjoyed our stay at Sam’s Shack. There’s plenty of room - the website makes the rooms look a little small but they’re very comfortable. There’s a “mother-in-law’s“ suite downstairs with another kitchen, sitting area and large bed. The upstairs has plenty of seating for a large group and the kitchen has a nice roomy counter for working on. The house has a crockpot but we didn’t see a blender. Plenty of pots and pans and dishes - we did have to pick up a can opener but we left it for the next renters to use! There are 5 comfy rocking chairs on the roomy upstairs porch and another sitting area halfway to the dunes, on the walkway. The beach is very nice, not too many deep holes or drop-off areas to trip you up. Plus, the pier is only a short walk to the right of the house . Would definitely rent again, even without a dishwasher!
