One more family vacation filled with beautiful memories.
Our yearly family vacation at Myrtle beach was once again a beautiful success. Palmetto Paradise was the home we chose this year and we were not disappointed.This home offered all that any large family would be looking for.As with any beach home you truly never know how it is until you arrive. Although the pictures are accurate, one only needs to enter to receive the true feeling. this home was very welcoming with only a few drawbacks.The views of the area were wonderful,you could see the ocean from many rooms and the third floor offered the best.This home offered such an open and clean environment.Drawbacks were that the third floor bedrooms offered no dressers for clothing with the exception of one side table that had two drawers.This home had no cable it offered streaming stations like Roku and etc.The kitchen offered most of what anyone would need dishes were plentiful cookware and bake ware were good the only things our family could have used was a very large pot and a few whisks.Spices of any kind were unavailable as stated so we brought or bought any spices we knew that we would need for preparing any meals.This home could have definitely installed an elevator,the stairs were a killer,getting to the third floor even for the young children was dreaded, but once there the view was awesome.The pool area was gorgeous,the design with the water flow was so soothing and every age group was accommodated.The main floor porch area was where we gathered throughout the day,chatting having coffee and making plans. The morning sun was a welcoming sight but a side awning would have been nice to filter the rays.So even with the pros and cons of this home we enjoyed every moment.Our family would certainly return to this home and look forward to our next years vacation, we have already decided that one week is not long enough so it will be a two week stay for our family next year.Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family.

This I s my first time to Myrtle Beach, came visit family friends and really enjoyed it. Our lodging was spacious and well lit with natural sunlight. The best part was we had a view of the ocean and the beach access was literally steps away! The home was clean and the pool area was private. NICE PLACE TO STAY

Trip of lifetime!
Trip of a lifetime! Beautiful home located right up the street of Surf Side Beach! This home offers everything. Spacious rooms with king size beds including your own on suite. Making it perfect for large family gathering, but also offers your own space with TV options. My kids were so occupied with going for a short walk to the ocean swimming then back to our own private pool with a warmer soaking tub on top. This location was also close to many fun attractions for the whole family to enjoy. Just minutes away are fun dinning places, many souvenirs shops, and Broadway on the Beach with fun rides for all age groups! If you are traveling to South Carolina I highly recommend you staying at this spacious home with a wonderful private pool and is short walk to the ocean!

Wonderful Times and Happy Family Memories
The week we spent at Surf side Beach was absolutely amazing!!! The house was awesome, there is so much room to sleep, beds very comfortable. A bunk bed area on the third floor that will accommodate adults or would be a great place for kids with the bottom bunks that pull out as a trundle bed, so the kids can all hang together. Also on the 1st floor there is a huge kitchen area, lots of counter space to cook if you so desire or just a great place to gather. Kitchen and front room are one big open area so everyone can visit, with an abundance of seating for all. Front deck with double doors to open and enlarge the area even more. Large pool and soaking tub,that great beach,great dinning in walking distance. 12min. from airport,so many things to do Palmetto Paradise just that.

Outstanding Family & Friends Beach Getaway
This was a next-level vacation experience for our Family. The location is ideal on all accounts: Easy access to the airport. One block from the Beach. We loved the evening stroll with the kiddos to the ice cream shop, on the main drag (approx 1/2 mile). And if we didn't want to cook, or mix our own cocktails, the Saltaire Kitchen was right across the street!. Surfside Beach is the perfect blend of quiet vacation splendor, but close enough to the tourism action to keep the children entertained when we were done with water activities. The Property is exceptional. I've always wanted to stay in a stilted house since I was a kid and it totally met my expectations as a fun house! Four balconies on three levels meant you can gather together, or just as easily find an outdoor place for yourself, to read or just admire the view. The pool area was great for the kids to splash around, or for the adults to catch some sun. The bedrooms are lovely and spacious. The bedrooms on the 1st/2nd floors all have full baths and this is a deal-maker for sure. The 3rd level is set up for what I'd call the "family suite" with a quad of bunk beds for the kids and a huge room for the parents across the hall (this is the only shared bathroom). Our stay consisted of 10 adults and 2 children. We prepared at least 2/3 meals a day in this kitchen. This kitchen is very well outfitted with everything we needed to feed a group this large. Our group comes from Minnesota, so a spring vacation, was the perfect kickoff to our few months of warm weather. We will certainly be back next year!

Great Stay for Large Group!

We had a VERY large group, mixing business and pleasure, and this house was perfect. Plenty of room to relax, lots of parking, and a front row seat to the Memorial Day parade in front of the house! The pool is perfect for "chill" days, and just steps away from the beach. One note: Be aware that you do have to pay extra for the bed sheets, and also put them on the beds and then strip them off again at the end of the stay. It is not something we have ever experienced with a VRBO stay, and was an inconvenience (as well as a little pricey, considering we already paid for house cleaning but then had to do a lot of it ourselves) but wasn't a deal breaker. Overall a great place for a large group.

Best Family Vacation
Our large family was able to easily fit into this lovely house. The common areas were airy with pleanty of seating for meals, lounging, and Game Nite. The bed rooms were large enough that you didn't feel cooped up when you needed private time. The pictures are a true representation of the house, but I was extremely happy that the beach was so much closer than it appeared! It was easy to pop over to watch the sunrise and be back before my tea was cold. The views from the balconies were quite nice, especially the top floor. The pool was a haven of privacy, and also larger than I expected. The location was the cherry on top! Close enough to everything we could want to do without the high traffic and tourist traps in Myrtle Beach proper. I hope this becomes an annual destination for our family!

Better than the other rental homes close by-- Here is why
I stayed at the Palmetto Paradise for an entire week over Labor Day to the following Saturday in 2022. I want to comment about how impressed I was with several of the conscientious items the owner had considered for the comfort of guests. Just some random thoughts in no particular order: There are 7 rooms in this house, not 5. Many of the homes look the same but not all of them have this many rooms. There are 3 masters in the home which makes it really comfortable for three adult families to come and no one feels cheated out of a “good room”. Which often happens when families travel together to places like this. The top floor room has 4 bunk beds so all the kids can sleep together and stay up to all hours of the night. Each of the 7 bedrooms also has its own TV as well as the Family room that has a huge wide screen. There were multiple channels and streaming services on each TV, as well as a remote for each TV and clear instructions on how to use everything. This home is the ONLY home we looked at that had a pool AND a kiddie pool. This is huge for families that have little tots who love the water but can’t swim yet. There was ample and endless hot water and no one ever ran out of hot water the entire week. (the guests in the home next door had expressed they were rationing hot water…just sayin’) The kitchen literally had every single item we needed. (think bottle opener, meat thermometer, rolling pin, etc) There were ample amounts of dishes to serve maybe 40 serving plates without needing to wash. The house is about 50 steps to the beach, which has a lit and safe walkway There is the Holiday Inn across the street where they have a restaurant which was valuable the day we arrived (before we shopped) and the day we left (after all the groceries were all gone) the management company was extremely responsive and helpful about questions regarding the property. The furniture and appliances are of very good quality. It is close to EVERYTHING which really made it ideal. And the street was uber quiet. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had some good laughs and good times and we will definitely be back.

We came back again.
This is my second year at Palmetto Paradise, and am still giving it a full 5-stars. The house is clean, well stocked, bright and airy. The proximity to the beach is great without the beachfront cost. Multiple balconies provide private areas when our large family needs alone time. The pool is just perfect for the kids to splash and play or the adults to chill. Love how close everything is without the hectic tourist feel of Myrtle Beach proper. Already planning next year!
