Beautiful Property
We have rented several properties at Myrtle and Surfside, this one was by far the best one we have rented. Wish we could have enjoyed it more as we were evacuated by the hurricane. The only issue we had was the AC on the bottom floor. With the hurricane coming in, it was difficult to get someone out to fix it so we had no AC for that one room. We will be staying here again next year.

Definitely a 5 star review for our stay at Above the Tiki Hutt!  Pool area had a tv, refrigerator and sink/bar area.  Everything you need to wind down for the night, or lunch by the pool.  There was also a bedroom/ living area with a bathroom on the bottom floor which made life easier when spending the day by the pool.  Upstairs living area had a ton or room and a large table for family meals and game nights. I loved the open layout so you could cook and visit at the same time.   Three bedrooms upstairs each had their own bathroom.  Decks on the front and back of the property are open but shaded allowing you to stay out of the sun and enjoy the breeze from the ocean.  Stones through from the Ocean so we didn't bother packing lunches, just ran back and forth. The only downfall and only if you are traveling with older people, or people with disabilities, is the stairs to the main living area and the upstairs bedrooms.  There are 18 stairs per stair well and they are moderately steep.  We didn't have any problems but I could understand that being an issue for some.  Other than that, close to route 17 and everything that you could need from Walmart to Chinese Buffet.  Close to the Pier and bars/restaurants on the strip.  Also a quick 15 minute drive to the boardwalk. Stay here if you're planning a trip to Surfside!

Great Property
When you can honestly say that "This was one of our best vacations" during the COVID-19 and social distancing you know that this is a great house. We had plenty of room for our family vacation that included 4 generations. Having a private pool made us all feel safe while we had lots of family time. No one missed the beach but we did have the option to walk down if we wanted to get a glimpse of the ocean. We have zero complaints and definitely would suggest this home to others to enjoy!
