Phillip Phillips - August 29, 2017 This American Idol alum has made a name on his jam-band style and pop sound. If you love Dave Matthews Band and Mumford & Sons, you will like him.

The Eli Young Band - September 3, 2017 House of Blues The Eli Young Band is a country band with a singer/songwriter at the helm. You're sure to love their boot-stomping anthems as well as the slower ballads. A great date night idea for Labor Day Weekend!

Clint Black - October 14, 2017 Alabama Theatre This Country music crooner was well-loved in the 1990s and is sure to play his classics like "Nothing but the Headlights," "Second Wind," "Killin' Time" and "Like the Rain."

John Pardi - November 4, 2017 House of Blues This country up-and-comer is best known for his hits "Missin' You Crazy" and "Up All Night." His current album single is "Head Over Boots" and has been doing well on the country charts. A great idea for girls or boys night out!

Spring Events in the Myrtle Beach Area

And just like that, spring is almost upon us and along with the spring season comes a variety of events and festivals for locals and those vacationing in Surfside Beach to enjoy. Here are the top spring events in the Myrtle Beach area that you must check out.

 

Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival (April 1st)

Food trucks, local restaurants and local vendors will cover the street connecting Burroughs and Chapin Pavillion Place. Attendees will enjoy free admission, delicious food and family friendly entertainment throughout the event. There will also be beer and wine perfect for pairing!

North Myrtle Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade (March 11th)

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade is a free event that offers a full day of fun with a parade, live music, children’s rides and a range of vendors displaying their crafts and goods. It’s family friendly environment makes it perfect for both adults and kids.

Canadian American Days Festival (March 11th - 19th)

This event will be the 56th Can-Am Days Festival and is a free event that includes concerts, golf tournaments and a variety of fun activities. It’s also a great time to visit the Myrtle Beach area as many hotels and business offer discounts during the festival.

 

Run to the Car Show (March 16th-18th)

The car show is a weekend long event and is considered to be one of the largest car shows in the Southeast. Though it’s not a free event, it’s the perfect way to give back as all proceeds go to Children’s Miracle Network and The National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Myrtle Beach Highland Games & Heritage Festival (March 24th - March 25th)

The Highland Games & Heritage Festival is a unique event held in the Market Commons. Attendees will enjoy athletic competitions, a Celtic marketplace, Scottish whiskey tastings, activities for the kids and live music.

Thompson Farm’s Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Bunny Brunch
