April

April is the perfect time for those who just can’t wait any longer to escape the chilly weather. Though some attractions may still be closed in April, there is no shortage of festivals to enjoy like the Horry County Fair, SpringFest and SOS Spring Safari.

May

In May, you’ll find that the weather in Surfside Beach, SC rests at about 80 degrees and the water temps have increased as well. Not only will the weather be ideal, you’ll also find that there are less crowds as May is not officially considered summer for many. On top of the attractions that you’ll find just minutes away in Myrtle Beach, you may also find yourself in the midst of some fun festivals like the Blue Crab Festival or the Mayfest on Main. Additionally, rates for hotels and beach rentals won’t be nearly as high as they are in peak months like June, July and August.

June and July

October
